Brief Profile
St. Joseph Senior High School is a co-educational Institution and a brain child of - the Catholic Diocese of Wiawso established out of the need to help in raising the standard of education at its catchment area. Upon creation of the Catholic Diocese of Wiawso in 2000, Most Rev. Joseph Francis Kweku Essien, the Bishop of the newly created Diocese conducted a baseline survey which revealed the low standard of education in the area. The Diocese saw it as a pastoral duty to help in raising the standard of education in the area. With the help of Rev. Msgr. Simon Asamoah and "Clap for Jesus", a benevolent group in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), the Diocese began to put up the buildings for the school. The school's motto is "Scientia Liberate" (Knowledge Liberate).
