Brief Profile
Queens Girls Senior High School was established as a Community school. The vision of the Anhwiaso Traditional Council was to bring second cycle education to the door steps of the girls in the area. The Traditional Council was headed by Nana Yaw Gyebi II. Their vision led to the birth of Queens SHS. The first headmistress, Mrs Elizabeth Kpatakpa arrived at Sefwi Anhwiaso on the 14th of September 2010. She embarked on enrolment drive even though she could not speak any of the local languages. She hails from Avatime Biakpa a village near Amedzofe in the Volta Region. Nana Yaw Gyebi 11 detailed one of his chiefs to take her around.
