Brief Profile
It is a co-educational institution founded in January, 1991 as part of the educational reforms of 1987.It started on the premises of Shama Secondary Technical Fisheries School, a private second cycle institution founded by the late Mr. Edward K. Dontoh in the early 1970's. Mr. Dontoh's school collapsed after some few years of existence.In 1990, the family of the late Mr. Dontoh released his structure to the community for the commencement of Shama Secondary School. The Government provided additional structures for the smooth take off of the school. The school started with sixty students and four teachers.
