Brief Profile
The foundation stone of this school was laid by His Excellency the then Prime Minister of the Republic of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, on 13th October 1959. The school was however formally opened for admissions in the following year, on 9th October, 1960. From that humble beginning, the school steadily grew to achieve national reputation when in 1975, it was officially granted a sixth-form status. Within a span of fifty-six (56) years, the school has been administered by 11 (eleven) headmasters. Asankrangwa Senior High School is currently located in a serene environment with a very beautiful school compound which is quite attractive to every first-time visitor to the school
