Brief Profile
Tumu Senior High Technical School one of the Secondary Technical Schools opened in 1991 under Ghana Education Reform Programme aimed at reducing the number of years of Pre-University Education from seventeen (17) years to twelve (12) years also intended to increasing access to Education and making the curricular more relevant to the needs of the individual and the country as a whole. It metamorphosed from the Old Middle School system through the JHS to its Present status with an enrolment of One Hundred and Fifty Students (150) and (9) Staff under the Headship of Mr. Kuthbert Kuunyem. Largely because of cost effectiveness, these schools including Tumu Senior High Technical School are made to operate as day schools to absorb (Junior High School) pupils
