Queen of Peace Senior High

Brief Profile

Queen of Peace Senior High School was established by the Catholic Church to provide quality education to boys and girls in the Nadowli area and beyond. It is located about 2km North-West of the Nadowli Township along the Nadowli-Tangasia road in the Upper West Region of Ghana. The school is part of the public educational system in the district. Hence it falls under the supervision of the District Education Directorate and the Catholic Education Unit.

It was established on the 29th January, 1999 through the combined efforts of the Catholic Bishop of Wa Diocese, the District Assembly, the Community and GES.

VISION

To ensure that all students admitted are exposed to the variety of relevant occupational, academic and moral skills to enable them develop a longing for further self-improvement and responsible leadership in order to have an impact on national manpower requirement.

MISSION

Providing quality relevant pre-tertiary education to the youth to enable them develop their potentials, high sense of moral values and productivity in order to reduce poverty and contribute to the socioeconomic development in the country.
