Worawora Senior High

Brief Profile

The school was found in 1969 as a private institution by Nana Opoku Fefre a - native of Worawora. Then called Volta Polytechnic. After three years of its inception the name changed to Volta Commercial College in 1972. In 1973 the name again changed to Worawora Institute of Technology. The proprietor's desire to have an institution in Worawora at all cost made him gave up the ownership to the government in 1975. The Government of Ghana absorbed the school and named it Worawora Secondary School
