Nkonya Senior High

Brief Profile

Bueman Senior High School, popularly called BUSEC, is a mixed public - non-denominational, co-educational institution with facilities for boarding and day students. The school was founded by the late Mr. Christopher Kwaku Nayo of Old Baika in 1960. The school is located at the northern foot of the Ohinto Hills at Jasikan-Buem along the Jasikan-Kadjebi road in the Volta region of Ghana. The school which started with twelve students now has a population of 1,760 students and a staff of 82 teaching and 56 non-teaching.

VISION

To develop an educational institution that is well staffed with experienced, a disciplined and motivated workforce that will assist to bring quality (to the Volta Region and beyond) by training boys and girls to acquire skills and moral values to promote social, economic, cultural and political well-being of Ghana.

MISSION

To provide a conducive student-centered environment combined with relevant quality teaching and learning to ensure that students acquire knowledge and skills for academic and moral excellence for peaceful coexistence.
