Brief Profile

Christian Methodist Senior High School (CMSHS) is a mission school under the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church of Ghana. In September, 1960, under the supervision of Bishop E. P. Murchison and with financial assistance from the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in the United States of America, Rev. Gordon Quaye and Rev. Dr. Raph Shonyeh Wright founded the Christian Methodist Secondary School.

From 1960 - 1965, Christian Methodist Senior High School operated as a private institution financed by the Church and the fees of the few students were paid by the church. On September 1, 1965 the school was absorbed into the Ghana Education Service as a government assisted secondary school.

VISION

To impact Christian values and provide a safe, orderly, caring and supportive environment for students to excel and to support the manpower needs of the country as well as foster a positive relationship among staff, students and parents.

MISSION

To provide relevant secondary education for boys and girls in the Ga South Municipality and its environs to enable them enter tertiary institutions and to develop a positive learning experience in our students by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, capabilities, desire and confdence with which to embrace the future and support socio-economic and national development.
