Brief Profile
Nkwatia Presbyterian Senior High/Commercial School is located at Nkwatia, one of the many towns on the Kwahu Ridge. The school started as Training College in November, 1965. In 1972, the secondary school was started alongside the Training College. The then Headmaster saw the school through the transitional period from a Training College to a Secondary School. In September 1974, the training college was subsequently phased out leaving a budding secondary school. In the 1978/79 academic year, the commercial or Business Department was introduced earning the school the name Nkwatia Secondary/Commercial School. When later in 1974 the school was admitted into the fold of Presbyterian schools and Colleges and it became a Presbyterian Secondary/Commercial School.
