Brief Profile
The first batch of students were enrolled on 16th October, 1971 with seventy boys. It became extremely necessary to admit girls due to great demand for girls' education. The first batch of girls were twenty(20) and was admitted in October, 1972.They were housed in a near by hostel. Initial idea was that the school would serve the immediate community, the first batch came from all over southern Nifa. It was argued forcefully in the second year of the school's existence that since Akuapem had political divisions, namely nifa Benkum and Adonten and later two which were older and had their and had their own schools named after their traditional political division. It was only fair that Adukrom secondary school should me named after its traditional political division and called nifa secondary school. The change in name was accordingly effected in 1973.
