A Mixed Second Cycle Institution. It is a Government of Ghana Assisted Public Senior High School operating under the mandate of the Ghana Education Service. It is one of the GET fund schools established by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1961. Boa Amponsem Senior High School, originally known as Dunkwa Secondary School was established in September 1961 by the Late Dr. Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, President of the First Republic of Ghana in appreciation to the Denkyira State. The school was re-named Boa Amponsem Secondary school in September 1976 after one of the illustrious and famous Paramount Chief in Denkyira, namely Odeefoↄ Boa Amponsem III

VISION

Boa Amponsem Senor High School seeks to provide relevant education to all students at the second cycle to create a propitious environment for the spiritual and moral development of each child. And to put in place a framework in which each student can develop to the full, talent with which he or she may be endowed while respecting those of others.

MISSION

The school is charged with the responsibility to foster, maintain and implement sound educational practices that conform to the educational policies of Ghana to enable Boa Amponsem Senior High School gain international recognition and to take the challenges of a fast-changing world in their stride while making the most of every opportunity for self-development and service to mankind.
