Brief Profile

Adankwaman SHS is situated at Assin Darmang in the Assin South District. The school is about 600m from the main highway that leads from Cape Coast to Assin Fosu. The school though not a recognized boarding facility has two girls hostels and a boys hostel. The school runs five (5) programmes namely, Business, General Arts, Home Economics, Agric Science and Visual Arts. It has four (4) classroom blocks of six classrooms each with some temporarily been used as an administration block and a staff common room.

To be a model school, with high academic excellence through eﬀective teaching and learning and efcient management of human, material and fnancial resources to boost academic performance, increase enrollment and add to its assets.

MISSION

To provide relevant quality education and training for the students which will assist them to acquire knowledge, skills and good morals to develop their potentials to be productive, facilitate poverty reduction in the locality through team work.
