Brief Profile
With the realization of the importance of education to development and in order to assisting the youth in preparing adequately for their future lives, the Chiefs and Elders of Asamang deliberated on establishing a Secondary School (now Senior High School). This was to augment the Basic schools within the township and her catchment so that candidates who are able to make it through the BECE can obtain their secondary education without having to travel long distances to other schools outside which brought about financial burden on the parents. When the Chiefs and Elders put this to the community, most of the citizenry agreed and in 1975, they commenced the establishment of the school. Through hard work and commitment, members of the community through communal labour begun to build the school's infrastructure at its current location (old site). In the same year it was absorbed into the Public system with Mr Ben Owusu becoming the School's first Headmaster from 27th October, 1975 to 28th November, 1982.
