Brief Profile
The school now known as V Senior High Schools has a long chequered history. It started in a temporary accommodation as a Primary Girls’ School named Juaben Methodist Girls Boarding and Day school, in 1950.
It was to be an experiment in co-operation between the Church and the local authority in providing boarding-school education for primary 3 – 6. After twelve years, the school was changed to Juaben Methodist Women’s Training College in October, 1962, with 27 students and two tutors. The Training College existed for 10 years, till November, 1972, when it became a mixed Secondary School under the name Juaben Secondary School.
