Dompoase Senior High

Brief Profile

Dompoase Senior High School is a co-educational institution located at Dompoase in Adansi North District of the Ashanti Region. The school started as a Training College in 1965. On 27th September, 1973, the Ministry of Education decided to convert Dompoase Training College to a Secondary school. Dompoase Secondary School was opened at an assembly of the first Headmaster, Mr. Nicholas Asante, Nana Dompoasehene and his elders, the teaching staff and 72 students, at the college Assembly Hall.

To provide a high quality Senior High Education in the areas of knowledge, attitude and skills to all Ghanaian children with a view to enhancing the manpower needs of Ghana.

MISSION

To provide an excellent academic and vocational training which prepare students adequately for the world of work and make them fruitful through the attainment of the highest quality of life.
