Brief Profile
In the early part of the 1950’s due to the limited number of Secondary Schools in the Ashanti Region, boys and girls who wanted secondary education had to travel to the coast of the country. An association called Asante Youth Association (AYA) at its meeting at K.O Methodist School in 1952 mooted the idea of establishing a Secondary School in the locality to reduce cost factors involved in seeking secondary education down south.
