Brief Profile

Okomfo Anokye Senior High School is a coeducational institution set-up as a Community School on 5th October, 1964. It was named Subri Secondary School after The Wiamoase stool. It was the frst Secondary school to be established in the then Afigya/ Sekyere District, now Sekyere South District. The name of the school was changed to Okomfo Anokye Secondary School on 22nd October, 1964.

The vision of Okomfo Anokye SHS is to become an educational centre of academic excellence to provide relevant and requisite skills to all students.
