KNUST Senior High

Brief Profile

Technology Secondary School, now KNUST Senior High School was founded in February 1961 by the late Dr. R. P. Baﬀour, the frst Vice-Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology, to provide Secondary/Technical Education for students who would eventually enter the University. Since the School was directly under the control of University, the Vice-Chancellor appointed an Advisory Committee to manage its aﬀairs, but its day-to-day running was in the hands of wives of some Senior Lecturers of the University.

VISION

This is to be the secondary and technical institution of choice for students who would eventually enter the university.

MISSION

Through the programmes, the school has always focused on the achievement of both academic and moral excellence, creating an atmosphere conducive for learning and engaging teachers who are highly motivated.
