Yamfo Anglican Senior High School

Brief Profile

Yamfo Anglican Senior High School located in Tano North Municipality of Brong Ahafo region in Yamfo town was started as a private community school by the chief and people of Yamfo in 1982. Their objective was to make secondary education accessible to basic school graduates in and around the Yamfo locality.

The Anglican Mission took over the management of the school in 1988 and changed from Yamfo Community Secondary School to Yamfo Anglican Secondary School.

The school was integrated into the public school system and absorbed by the government as assisted secondary school in 1991.

MISSION

To facilitate quality teaching and learning to all students admitted into the school to enable them acquire skills that will assist them to develop their potential to be useful to their society and the nation as a whole
